We are actively looking for highly motivated postdocs, graduate and undergraduate students, and research specialists to join our lab. Prerequisites are creativity, passion, dedication and the capability to work collaboratively in a small and highly interdisciplinary group. Trainings in physics, optics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and bioengineering is preferred but not essential. We develop technology not for technology’s sake, but rather the opportunities to have a wide and deep impact on biomedical research.
Interested postdoc candidates are strongly encouraged to directly contact Professor Fu with their curriculum vita (CV) that includes a list of publications, a brief statement or research interests and goals (2 pages), and contact information for three references that can provide letters of recommendation. Qualified postdoc candidates who are interested in applying for the prestigious ODBI2 Distinguished Postdoctoral Scholars, the Presidential Postdoctoral Research Fellows, and other distinguished Princeton Postdoctoral Fellowships are strongly encouraged to contact Professor Fu well ahead of the application deadlines.
Students applying to our Electrical and Computer Engineering graduate program: Please choose Biological and Biomedical Engineering (BBE), Optics and Photonics (OPT), or Materials Device Technologies (MDT) as your primary area of interest, and mention Professor Fu in your application. Highly motivated students are encouraged to send their CVs before or after submitting their applications.
Students applying to our Bioengineering graduate program: Please choose Hardware-Materials or Cell Tissue Engineering as your primary area of interest, and mention Professor Fu in your application. Highly motivated students are encouraged to send their CVs before or after submitting their applications.
Students applying to our Biophysics graduate program: Please mention Professor Fu in your application. Highly motivated students are encouraged to send their CVs before or after submitting their applications.
